City of Hubbard...Victorian Crossroads of Central Texas
We are a bedroom community, centrally located on Highway 31 and Highway 171 within 45 minutes of Waco, and 30 mintues from Hillsboro, Mexia and Corisicana. City of Hubbard has direct easy travel to Interstate Hwy 35 and 45.
With 5 municipal lakes and many Victorian era homes, Hubbard is a place of beauty and relaxation.
We decided to revamp one of our Landmark buildings in the city and convert it to a community Civic Center. It is our hope by doing so we can provide our citizens and others who would like a unique experience with the location to gather and celebrate the most meaningful moments in their lives.
The City of Hubbard's roots lie in the ranching community. Adjacent to the "Cow Head Trail. City of Hubbard is on the Texas Lakes Trail. In the early 1900's Hubbard became predominately a farming community.
